Daycare Manager

We are seeking an experienced Daycare Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our daycare facility. The role involves implementing Montessori-based learning practices, managing childcare staff, and fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children's holistic development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Montessori-based curriculum and learning methodologies.
• Manage daycare staff, including schedules, SOPs, and daily operations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate childcare staff on best practices in early childhood education.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children.
• Monitor children's developmental progress and provide guidance to parents, where required.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Manage incident reporting and ensure timely escalation to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Montessori Diploma/Certification is mandatory.
• 5–7 years of experience in Montessori education, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy, child development, and early childhood education practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design training programs, mentor educators, and effectively manage daycare operations.
